I'm very pleased with my purchase. I researched charcoal grills for months until I finally decided on this one because it's true ceramic (not ceramic coated). The price point isn't unreasonable. I'm a beginner , I mean I've cooked on charcoal while camping but there's usually 3 guys pushing me out of the way to show me how to do it better, which for them is using lighter fluid against my protest. This product states "do not use lighter fluid " yay, I win. I purchased this for my personal use because I'm vegan and I was tired of having to wrap my food in tinfoil to prevent cross contamination, I wanted the full flavor effect of cooking right on the grate and man oh man what a difference, my vegan chicken and zucchini was perfection. This grill was super easy to assemble and use. It's small but it's bigger than what I thought. My only complaint is i hurt my back getting the package. It's a lot heavier than I thought. It has rained almost every day since I've gotten it, I've only used it twice but I know I will get years of use, great quality.

This cooker arrived intact with no shipping damage. It was missing the fastening nut for the top smoke regulator but being a man of a certain age who never throws away odd hardware I had a suitable piece on hand. It looks god but we’ve had temps in the 20s so I’ll update when I can do a cook without caring about thermal shock cracking the unit. Update: 65° in May and a package of Bell and Evans wings just fit on the grate. 400° for 45 minutes with a couple of turns. The heat diffuser is a must though. Liking this very much for small cooks.

I absolutely love this Red Vessil's Kamado Charcoal Grill. My Hubby & I use it 3 or 4 times each week. Yesterday we Grilled Steaks, Salmon, and Ben's Chili Bowl Half Smokes😋 We purchased the Vessil's electric lighter and absolutely love this combo.

It was easy to put together even with minimal instructions, and arrived packaged well and in good condition. I purchased the 13-in version which has about a 9-in cooking surface, this is very small, which makes it portable. It would be good for tailgating, a household with limited space, or only cooking for a few people at most. I attached a photo with a deck of playing cards for scale. The other thing it would be good for is a sear station to augment a gas grill, just add some cast iron sear grates. This was my first time using a charcoal grill and I didn't have any problems getting it going and maintaining the temperature I wanted.

I have bought 4 new Kamado style grills to this point...2 Big Green Egg's, one Kamado Joe and this miniature Vessils Kamado grill. I bought this one because it's easy to transport and will still cook enough for 2 - 3 people. Although this product is not as high quality as the BGE grills IMO, I believe the quality is easily on par with the similar sized Kamado Joe grill I own. All parts and components of the grill are made very well for this price range, IMO. I was pleasantly surprised. Lowe's had the best price and gave great service. The manufacturers packaging this inexpensive grill arrived in was top notch. The instructions included with this grill are very good. Assembly tools are included. This grill cooks very well and produces food with the unique and unbeatable flavor my other Kamado grills produce. I can cook 3 large hamburger patties or 4 small ones at one time. Once the grill has heated up it has plenty of power to sear and cook steaks. I was also happy to know Vessils offers a compatible heat deflector (for smoking and baking) on their website.

Empty nester. Kids all grown up. Even a 32 inch grill is too big to use for a couple pieces of chicken and a hamburger patty. This Kamado is excellent for just me and my wife. I even successfully was able to smoke a 7lb pork shoulder. It's a very sturdy product. Word of caution. This weighs 40-50lbs. I don't think this would make a very good camping companion lol

Having wanted a ceramic kamado grill for some time, I researched this purchase thoroughly before deciding on Vessils 13", mostly due to size and weight. This grill is only 42 lbs and easily cooks enough for two people. Just what I wanted. It arrived in perfect condition and was packaged well. Many reviews of similar cookers complain of arriving cracked and broken. I am very impressed with the quality. After a couple of attempts at grilling (there is a learning curve on regulating temperatures), I found I definitely needed a heat deflector plate. I ordered it elsewhere and the package arrived quickly but one piece was missing and another shipped in error. Vessils responded quickly and immediately shipped the missing item and allowed me to keep the wrong item as a bonus. I finally mastered temperatures on my third try at grilling and made the best smoked chicken thighs I've ever eaten, and I'm a BBQ snob. This is a great looking and functioning kamado for a low price. Be sure to plan on purchasing the heat deflector. I'M IMPRESSED.

They sent me a 9” pizza stone instead of the deflector . I was a little upset but not for long I emailed them and sent them pictures and within 5 minutes I heard back and they fixed the problem and sent me a tracking number. One of the best company’s I have had the pleasure to deal with . Also their grills are top notch especially for the money . Don’t hesitate to buy from these people !
